Let’s not offend anyone this week

Irv Sutley got his way when he filled a complaint in Sonoma County, California. He said he was extremely offended when he noticed stars and an angel on top of a Christmas Tree in an administrative building because it endorsed the religion of Christianity. So what did county administration do? They bowed at his every wish, emailing all 26 county departments to make sure all religious symbols were removed. WHAT ARE THESE IDIOTS THINKING? Here is a single atheist who is simply a baby and the “DUMB” administrators do whatever he says!? First off, stars and angels are not an endorsement of Christianity. If the guy had any brain he would have known this immediately. Every person on earth can look into space almost any night, with the naked eye, and see countless stars. We also have 50 stars on our flag, you can be a rising star on eBay, we give kids stickers that look like stars for making good grades… we love stars. And angels… Almost every person on earth believes in angels – even some atheist believe in angels. To me a Christmas tree 1is more blatantly Christian than any angel or star. Even if all these weren’t true please tell me why one person can file a complaint and the vast majority of Americans have to deal with the consequences? What is wrong with some of the leaders in our country. They should have sent a letter to Sutley with the names of all the “old folks homes” in the county because the man is senile. Instead the county acted in a more ignorant way than Sutley himself. Let me say one more thing on this subject. If there really is no god, why would this atheist care about an insignificant angel on top of a tree in a building that few people enter? It makes no sense whatsoever. Maybe Atheist are people who feel so convicted by God that even the sight of an angel makes them scared to death… Here is the much more proper story of Sutley…
