Is Jesus the Only Way to God?

A recent poll of members of the Presbyterian Church USA shows that 36 percent believe that Jesus Christ may not be the only way to God. Only about 40 percent agreed with John 14:6 that Jesus is the only way. This seems to be a reflection of our countries current state of religious belief. A recent religious trend in our nation seems to be a type of “universalism” where every person can make it to heaven as long as they are “moral.” This goes in direct contradiction to the Bible and Orthodox Christianity.
