CIA Cover Up?
Almost nine years ago a Christian missionary plane was shot down after it was thought to be a drug trafficking plane. The Peruvian military shot the plane down with the okay from the CIA. Here is the video below and the full article here.
Harry Reid Isnt a Good Friend
Watch what you say nowadays, especially if you are the President. I get really sick of the American mentality where everyone cries when they hear something they don’t like. President Obama reportedly said that college kids shouldn’t spend the money they saved for school in Las Vegas. This didn’t go well with the Mayor of LV or any other Nevada elected official. So the President wrote a letter to Harry Reid, his closest ally, to explain what he meant and to apologize. Harry Reid responded with a surprising comment; ”The President needs to lay off Las Vegas and stop making it the poster child for where people shouldn’t be spending their money.” He then went on to say something totally irrelevant. Maybe because he was really just using the opportunity to score some brownie points with voters and didn’t actually believe what he was saying (he probably never does). The sad truth is that the President is right. He said it was time to tighten our belts because the economy was bad and honestly, we should be tightening our belts. We can’t keep spending like there’s no problems. I just wish he would live by his own words! The budget put out by the White House this week shows they are going to spend more money than ever before… as if we can afford it. Ultimately the whole thing looks like a circus. These people are fighting over the dumbest things and none of them have a clue. They should quit spending money and so should everyone else right now, we could fix this economy and we could do it without all these new taxes proposed by the Obama Administration. Constitutional Ignorance
There are people today in our country who have no idea of the principles set up by our founding fathers in the Constitution of the United States and the Declaration of Independence. This week alone there have been two different mainstream issues that have brought criticism from anti-religious groups. The first that has really bugged me is the Tim Tebow Super Bowl Ad. Pro-abortion groups have come against CBS for selling the time slot to Focus on the Family because of the pro-life content of the ad. Like they have any reason to protest any pro-family content… they definitely don’t have any justification to remove the ad; it is not in any way a violation of law. The second issue this week has been the Mother Teresa stamp from the United States Postal Service. The very confused, Freedom From Religion Foundation group has stated that this is a violation of federal law because the Untied States Government cannot honor ”individuals whose principal achievements are associated with religious undertakings…” WHAT??!! It is easy to see that these people know very little about our governmental system and the history associated with it. It is truly sad when those who say they are in favor of tolerance and respect seem to tolerate none with a different belief. Sadly we have been raising a generation who “knows not Joseph,” and doesn’t understand very much about our true American Heritage.
Colts and Saints advance to Super Bowl
After an amazing 31-28 overtime game between the Saints and the Vikings, Super Bowl 44 is all that’s left. Bret Favre had a great game but it wasn’t enough to make up for all of the Vikings turnovers tonight. Will Favre retire with his last play an interception? Saints and Vikings recap here.

Haiti death toll over 150,000
The death toll from the 7.0 magnitude earth quake in Haiti has now been confirmed to be over 150,000 with thousands upon thousands of people still missing. The actual number of deaths at this point has been impossible to estimate. Some Haitian officials have said that there could be over 300,000 already dead. Championship Week Picks
My Picks
New York Jets vs. Indianapolis Colts
Sun. 3:00 p.m. on CBS
Colts Win by 10
Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints
Sun. 6:40 on Fox
Vikings Win by 3

We’ve watched the jets do the unthinkable two weeks in a row now and there is no doubt the Saints are strong. Both Games this weekend have to potential to be great. The Vikings and Saints game is almost certain to be a great one. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Colts lose in an upset.

Scott Brown Wins Tedd Kennedy’s Senate Seat

Scott Brown won the Massachusetts special election tonight and in doing so he has ended the Democrats filibuster proof majority in the Senate. With 97 percent reporting, It looks to be a spread of 52-47 percent over Democrat Martha Coakley. Brown has committed to sending the Health Care Bill “back to the drawing board” but can he be sworn into office in time? The Democrats are now promising to do everything in their power to go against the will of the people and push the bill through before Brown takes office. Typical…
Obama’s Health Care Decided Today?
Massachusetts voters go to the polls today electing a senator to fill Tedd Kennedy’s seat. If Republican Scott Brown wins tonight he will be the 41st republican senator and will effectively end the Democrats filibuster proof senate. The could be enough to hold the President Obama’s health care bill off until the 2010 elections. In September some polls showed Democrat Marth Coakley leading Scott Brown by 30+ points. Amazingly nine of the last ten polls have shown Brown to be the new front runner in this crucial election. Massachusetts is typically a democrat controlled state but as we saw in the mid term elections, republicans seem to be gaining the upper hand nation-wide. The folks in Washington thought they had the health care bill nearly through in spite of the 60 percent of Americans who disapprove of the bill. Maybe our leaders in Washington should do what they were called upon to do. Listen to the people.
